Copa: What were your pursuits in High school?
Vikki: Fun!!! I just wanted to play sports and enjoy life. I tried to play every sport I could at the time. I was on the Basketball, Soccer and Volleyball teams. Also Music, Jazz, Chorus Ensemble and student counsel. Just building relationships and enjoying everything that was a good interest for me. It was all about learning something new and that has followed me all of my life.

Copa: After High School upon entering college did this activity for you continue?
Vikki: Yes, I was on a dual scholarship for Basketball and Volleyball. I ultimately just played Basketball. I was a member of the Howard Gospel Choir, pledged Delta Sigma Theta in my Sophomore year, I was very active in the Florida Club as well as being very active in the School of Communications, internships and spending some time at WHUR and WHBC. I was always told that an idle mind is the Devil's workshop, staying engaged was something that I have always done, even into my adult life.

Copa: When did you develop your business acumen?
Vikki: As a child, I say that because my Grandmother was the city Avon Lady, everybody came tot her to get their Avon products. She was a big Entrepreneur as long as I could remember. We spent a a lot of time at her house watching her. What really stands out to me about her is her independence and freedom to go wherever she wanted when she wanted to invest in her community, that's a strong memory that resonates for me.
