Jean-Marie (JM) Le Gazel is famously known in the shoe industry, and needs no introduction. Originally from the isolated Auvergne region of South Central France, and now based in Paris France, JM Le Gazel is an heir to the Gazel’s legacy.
JM Le Gazel transformed what was once a shoe manufacturing company that both repaired and shined shoes, into a top-quality, highly sought-after designer shoe company. The hides used to create JM Le Gazel shoes are processed in the most distinguished French and Italian tanneries. The shoes are then hand-made by a Portuguese manufacturing company that works in collaboration with JM Le Gazel. Although the manufacturing company is responsible for creating the shoe, it is JM Le Gazel’s artistic skills and techniques that handsomely designs the shoe.
JM Le Gazel’s derbys, moccasins, richelieux and boots are hand-painted by JM Le Gazel and his team of artist. Every color, detail and design is a reflection of quality, exquisite taste, and a unique understanding of “the man,” and his desire to be different.
