Copa: What made you decide to join the Army?
Touraine: Growing up in a small town I wanted to travel the world and see how far I could go in life! The military made that possible for me. Going the military was the best career move of my LIFE & would be the place that assisted with SAVING my life.

Copa: How did you receive military life?
Touraine: The military life was exciting and adventurous. I wouldn't change anything it made me cultured & a strong woman.

Copa: Would you say that your experience in the military helped with your organizational skills?
Touraine: I can contribute a portion of my military skills to my organization but most importantly GOD is the sole reason for my direction in life.

Copa: Your experience in conquering cancer is very inspirational, where did you find your strength to win?
Touraine: As with any situation in LIFE I lean on GOD to direct my path asking him to strategically place me into the lives of those who I can assist and those who can assist me. I've learned that GOD won't give me anything I can't handle. We have to embrace our adversities and learn from them so that when we someone is going through what we already went through we will understand & have compassion towards their situation. My 2nd support system are my parents and without the daily knowledge and prayers bestowed on me I would have no spiritual background.

Copa: The “Enchanting Women Foundation," what did it take for you to establish this great organization?
Touraine: Being obedient to GOD's calling. Had I STOPPED being obedient and listening to the nay sayers I would have LOST my blessings that GOD had for me. I thank GOD for giving me the passion and strength to to PUSH FORWARD.

Copa: What is your philosophy on helping others, optimism, and dedication?
Touraine: My constant reminder is the covenant I made to GOD and until my mission is complete I will serve effortlessly.

Copa: We have noticed that you project at wonderful image to others by keeping fit and dressing beautifully at events.
Touraine: Self esteem plays a huge role in the lives of many. We can't lie to ourselves, when we look great we feel great. I recall being admitted in Walter Reed Medical Center waiting on my team of doctors to give me my usual blood counts, chemo and cancer prognosis. When the doctors walked in they saw with their eyes a small, brittle, bald headed young lady PAINTING her nails with a BIG beautiful smile!! We have to do what we can while we can and as long as I had my strength I would give 100 percent of my life to LIVE the LIFE GOD gave to me. I also work out 6 days a week to keep in top notch shape.

Copa: What does the future hold for Touraine Lynch?
Touraine: I believe GOD has a lot in store Enchanting Women Foundation and myself. GOD can and will do the unimaginable as long as we allow ourselves to let GOD lead our path. I'm honored to met every person I have met. Some connections are for a season where others are for a lifetime. I am THANKFUL to GOD for everything!

As Chairman of the “Enchanting Women Foundation“, a non profit association, headquartered in the Nation’s Capitol, Touraine spends much of her time raising funds in support for her devoted charity.
Touraine considers the Foundation “The Voice” of women, and according to their motto are “Enchanting, Charming, Inspirational, Divine, Sophisticated, Mentors, Enticing, and Positive Leaders." Its mission is to provide services to disadvantaged teens, battered women, and the homeless. The foundation doesn’t stop there, “Enchanting Women” also promotes women owned businesses in their “Women of the Month Spotlight” segment. Female authors are also showcased with their literature in the “Book-a-Licious Boutique,” section of the Foundation’s well visited website.
In 2002, our heroine’s life had taken a serious turn for the worse. Unfortunately, Touraine had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer. As a strong soldier she knew a fierce battle must be fought to overcome this enemy to her body and soul. With determination and fortitude, and most of all, her faith, Touraine conquered the arduous chemotherapy and stem transplant procedures. In the darkest moments, during her loss of speech, Touraine vowed to commit herself to help the less fortunate. The battle was finally won! With the same effort, she had re-fueled powerful aircraft that required her skillful and dedicated attention in the Army, Ms. Lynch now provides the well needed spirit to the souls that requires re-kindling to deal with everyday life with Enchanting-Women.com
