Copa: Did you require much time to develop your presentation for the 2018 DCFW? (DC Fashion Week)
Michael: Actually not at all because I had just arrived back home from London fashion week 2 days before I had an interview on "ABC/Let's Talk Live" news show for DCFW. I didn’t have much time but I’ve been doing so many shows that it’s a routine so I pretty much know what collection I’m using.

Copa: Please share some of your experiences while you participated in the shows of “ London Fashion Week ILFWDA Show
Michael: Well it was interesting that we had to show up at 6am on a Friday to do fittings, makeup for models and rehearsals. Show started at 11:30am. We really wouldn’t do anything like that here in the states and I have to say I was tired.

Copa: How would you and your modeling team describe your reception in London?
Michael: The reception was great. Most knew who I was and my collection and media was very receptive. I enjoyed myself so much that I’m doing the third largest show in the UK during London fashion week at House of icons in September. I’m actually doing a major editorial photo-shoot in London with renowned photographer Frank MacDonald. Excited about that as well. |
Copa: What does the future hold for Michael Lombard and his world of fashion?
Michael: I’m just gonna kept striving to be the best that I can be in this very competitive fashion industry. I’m mainstream now so the spotlight is on my next moves. My motto is design-create-innovative and I intend to continue to do just that.
