Copa: Where are you from?
Ronke: My name is Ronke Ogunmokun and I am originally from Long island New York but I have resided in Virginia since my youth and have been here since. My family background on my father’s side is Nigerian and my mother is from New York. Copa: At what time did you discover your love for fashion?
Ronke: At a young age I was always drawn to fashion vibrant colors while also having a natural love for art & design. |

Copa: Were you thinking about your hair and cosmetic line during the time you were modeling?
Ronke: During the time I was modeling I was solely focused on that. I have always dreamed of pursuing a cosmetic line well before modelling. My true inspiration behind my Beauty cosmetic line is my overall passion for style creativity, my love for doing hair and my natural ability to uplift others to not only look good but feel good. Copa: I also see you have hair bundles. Please share a little about what you offer.
Ronke: Yes, I do offer premium Brazilian hair which is 100% human. In addition to this I provide free installation services to customers who purchase our select bundle deal package which consist of spending $150 or more. If you simply purchase $150 or more of our premium quality hair and reside in the RVA area, then you qualify for a free install by myself or a member of our styling team. |
Copa: When did you decide to establish your own cosmetic line?
Ronke: I always dreamed of using my beautiful first name which is Tejumade for a perfume line. I’ve said this often as a child. ‘I’m going to have a perfume line one day and it will be successful” It wasn’t until early 2021 when I finally got enough courage and inspiration to do that, and so much more! One day I just stared researching how to start a start a cosmetic line and on that very day, I sat at home in my living room glued to my laptop and accomplished a great deal. I applied for my EIN & LLC and officially registered my Cosmetic line. I then reached out to a good business partner who specializes Graphic Design and hired her to fully complete my website.With her expertise and ability to bring my vision to life together we created a masterpiece! From this day on I felt unstoppable. Copa: Please describe some of your products you presently offer.
