1. Born and raised in London - Finchley Central in 1981. Moved to the US in 94’. 2. Fashion runs in the Sheth blood. My mother Priti owns and runs a fashion boutique called Pritis Fashions located in Tacoma Park -Maryland. I used to go to India with her on her business trips where she used to design her cloths. After a while i caught the fashion bug and i started designing my own. These cloths were only for me - but soon enough people started asking where i got these outfits from and who made them, etc. At that point i decided to take the next step. 3. First Designs - One of the first designs was a pre-stitched sari. Instead of pleading the sari- it was already stitched together making it easier to put on. I gave it a contemporary look with jewels and beads. See attached picture. 4. I launched MB on 6-2-18. The first year was phenomenal. The feedback I received from our international clients was heartwarming. Truth be told, as a design company we are also creating new trends so we’re always reinventing ourselves and relaunching year after year. 5. One word - “Statement” 6. Yes. As a young single female entrepreneur, there were few who could not except it. The concept of young woman who can build and sustain a business was unheard of. The only way to Overcome this particular hurdle is to not “talk the talk” but “walk the walk”. I let my success speak for itself. 7. In my humble opinion, I feel what makes MB magical is the experience of luxury when you enter our showroom. From the moment a client walks in, they not only feel positive vibes, but also leave with a decadent experience. 8. Yes. We hold holiday events twice a year where we showcase new designs. 9. The future is yet to be told. But I’ll try my best to always think outside the box, strive for success and be a trendsetter. Nisha Sheth
