The Cigar Lounge- once touted as a no women’s land, kept the curious away with its rough interior and boys club feel, but that artfully deceptive ruse is no more. Today, it’s the meeting place of some of the most powerful women in the country, who now grace the man cave with their increasing presence.

 

On any given day you’ll find this network of women whom are, chic, influential, and confident, in the shop- talking shop. These Lady bosses enjoy all the comforts the lounge provides, as they cut and light their own favorite cigars. Yes ladies, cigars and pipes are no longer boys’ toys. The society of aficionados has increased exponentially, and mainstream lounges have noticed, and are changing to accommodate this new demographic “The Successful Woman”, and they are paying attention to that Woman- in a big way.

 

Smoke & Mirrors- is a Woman’s Cigar Society, a monthly series produced in a woman’s perspective. Sponsored by Raj and Charryka Singh, proprietors of the Tinder Box in Waldorf MD who are also presides on the board of the club; Smoke & Mirrors is dedicated to meet the desires of the woman smoker. It’s a women’s night out, that blends sights and sounds, with basic tutelage and fun. A fee based membership that offers exclusives and establishes the holder as part of an elite and successful group of women. Along with transformative spaces and cigar accouterments that speak to the refined woman. There is no doubt -aficionados and neophytes alike will find something just for them in this series of events.
