Constance: Straight out of High school in 1981.

Copa: Was it difficult to work with various hairstyles and coloring?

Constance: Yes, from time to time it was . You never knew what type of condition the clients hair would be in. Some clients want style they knew they could not get

Copa: When did you decide to open your own business?

Constance: When I saw that there was a hair care need for women of color. To help women that were transitioning from chemical to natural hair.

Copa: Do you sell any items in your location? If so please give us some examples.

Constance: Yes, I have created several natural hair care products.

Copa: What sort of special services do you offer to your clients?

Constance: I offer a steam treatment regimen to restore the moisture into the hair. Which I recommend every two weeks depending on the

Constance: Soft waves

Copa: Do many people ask you about your fabulous grey hair and why it looks so marvelous?

Constance: Yessssss, all the time. I find that my hair is a conversation piece. I am a walking advertisement for myself.

Copa: What does the future hold for Constance Bell?

Constance: We all have hopes and dreams and aspirations. My hopes are to combine ConTay Hair Studio and ConTay Custom Embroidery into one.
