Known for his perfectly tailored suits for both men and women, he has dressed clients globally. His clients include a host of celebrities, media personalities, politicians, clergy, professional athletes, entertainers and other business professionals. Staple's work has appeared and been featured in a number of publications such as Essence, Black Enterprise, Upscale and Modern Luxury. In 2019 alone, his work graced the cover of three national publications including Fashion Avenue News Magazine, Style and Soul Magazine, Style Magazine NYC., and now for the 2nd time in Copa Style Magazine. In 2019 Malcolm's work was showcased during NYFW, Atlanta Live @Superbowl, DC Fashion Week, Men’s Fashion Week Virginia, and the Tim Reid International Culture Fashion Showcase.

Malcolm: I hail from Saginaw, Michigan.

Malcolm: I'm a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and the International Academy of Design and Technology. He is a postgraduate of the Harvard Business School, Harvard University.

Copa: At what time did you establish "Malcolm's Custom Made to Fit?"
Malcolm: Malcolm’s Custom Made To Fit in was launched in 2009. I started to design suits for several professional NBA and NFL athletes such as Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors, including his nephew LaMarr Woodley of the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2013 I dressed the hosts of the Miss Universe Pageant, Thomas Roberts of MSNBC and 'Spice Girl' Mel B.

Copa: Who influenced you to becoming a tailor?
Malcolm: I was heavily influenced by my grandfather, a man of style who he described as the best dressed man he has ever seen. My fashion vision has been inspired by the 1950's era attributing his distinctive appeal and vintage flavor as a connection to this time period.

Malcolm: The future appears bright as I've established a strategic plan to expand my brand and live in my fashion truth. I hope to continue to create and challenge my skill and exhaust every feasible opportunity to grow my brand.
