Copa: Where are you from?
Katrina: I originally grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Katrina: I went to Gaithersburg High school and Montgomery College Rockville campus.

Copa: At what time did you gather an interest in Art?
Katrina: I have always had an interest in art ever since I could hold a pencil in my hands. I have been drawing since I can remember.

Copa: What or who were your subjects and subject material?
Katrina: I presently enjoy painting with watercolor and I enjoy painting portraits of celebrities and famous people.

Copa: Who are your favorite 3 Artists and why?
Katrina: Jonathan Green. I love the vibrant colors used in his paintings to show rich culture and bring his art to life.
Michael Moebius. I admire his creative vision and bringing classic celebrities back to life in his paintings.
Thomas Kinkade. He captures a special vision with his gift for using his vibrant lights to illuminate his art as if they are actually glowing off of each canvas.

Katrina: Art is subjective and each person sees art in a different way. I hope that each of my works capture a sense of meaning and depth to the viewer.
