Unlike spirits, such as vodka, gin or scotch, each having their own lore, wine offers an extremely intricate taste and variety. Even cordials, such as Cognac and Sherry, are derived from wine by the process of further fermentation of wine. Because this maybe slightly confusing to us , there are professionals who study and can explain in elaborate detail to de-mystify the secrets of this liquid delicacy, that lurks within the bottle.
We present to you now, one of those endearing professionals, Sommelier, Richard Glover. Richard has been trained to unlock the age old mysteries, and teach us how to appreciate the complexities associated with the many varieties of wine.
Mr. Glover, who is also a member of the "Renaissance Society," a Philanthropic World Class Organization, which focuses on bringing awareness to different charities and foundations. They do this by creating a social networking atmosphere that consists of various distinguished individuals, such as business leaders and other professionals.
On June 29, 2013, Richard conducted wine tastings for the attendees of the VIP 7-7-7 Exclusive Fashion Show, which was held at the Italian Embassy, in Washington, DC. Many of the guests were consulted with his vast knowledge of serving and appreciating wine.
