In time if they can endure the rigors of the fashion world's somewhat complicated road to professional grandeur and will be able to enjoy the true fruits of their labor. In this instance we have Candice Mitchell on her first interview with Copa Style Magazine. Here she will candidly share her views on being a newcomer in the world of modeling. Let us wish her well, and now the interview.

Candice: Actually, I never wanted to become a model. It was something my mother hot me involved in when she saw how much I really loved the camera. I really just enjoy taking pictures, I view it as an art form.

Copa: Could you please give us your views of about the present state of the fashion industry today?
Candice: The present state of the fashion industry is quite powerful. There are more designers getting platforms to display their ideas to the world and that mean there are more opportunities to grow as a model.

Copa: Do you think New York should always remain the Fashion Center of the world?
Candice: New York has already become what it is and I'm excited that it is so. This does not mean that things are less fashionable elsewhere, but you can do things in New York City that can't be done anywhere else which allows a varied fashion sense. So it has kind of earned that reputation due to it's welcoming of difference.

Copa: Who is your best designer?
Candice: My best fashion designer is Leanne Marshall from "Project Runway". Her designs are beautiful. Her take on design added almost impossible math and angles excites me and leaves me on edge with what I can expect next.

Copa: Competition in modeling is fierce, what do you think about it and how do you handle it?
Candice: Competition in modeling, I enjoy it a bit; when it is healthy. I think a little competition keeps you on your game; however when you are stealing shoes and all of this other nonsense, I think that is just juvenile.

Copa: Makeup, do you have any hints for other models?
Candice: When it comes to makeup I say don't be attached to your face. Someone else has rented it for a few hours and your job is to make it look good. So just do your job.

Copa: Where would you ultimately like to be in the Fashion Industry?
Candice: Ultimately, in the Fashion Industry I would like to be recognized. I don't have to be the most famous, but if my work is valued then that means a lot to me. It can be a local, national or worldwide scale. ~ Copa!
