Angelee: Attended Glenwood Elementary, Guy B. Philips Junior High, and Chapel Hill Sr. High School in Chapel Hill, NC. Empire Beauty School of Cosmetology, and Cosmetology Instructor Concord, NC.

Copa: What's the title of you book?
Angelee: "Purposely Chosen, A Memoir" is the name of my first self-published book. .Copa: How did you begin developing your project?
Angelee: I invested in a mentor, Tressa Azarel Smallwood. Ms. Smallwood coached me through the entire process. My experience was smooth until reliving the traumatic experiences though my writing. I maneuvered through it because I knew it was a purpose for my writing. I had a goal set and published my first book within a year process. How has your book been received so far?
Angelee: I have gotten a lot of feedback from both genders about my book. Childhood trauma has affected adults today and many can relate to how it has influenced their relationships. I was surprised at the response because more and more people are starting to share their stories and do not feel ashamed about it. Copa: What does the future hold for Angelee Alson and her world of amazing activities?
Angelee: The future is wide open for Amazing Angelee. I plan on publishing more books for others and myself sharing fiction and non-fiction of real-life experiences. Traveling and speaking on the topic of childhood trauma such as sexual abuse and emotional abuse. Also raising funds for my non-profit organization R.A.C.E (Restoration After Children’s Emotions) Together we will all heal one testimony at a time! |
Copa: What's the name of your publishing company?
Angelee: I am the owner of NoLimit Publishers, LLC, where books will be birth from the heart and soul. NoLimit Publishers will inspire and encourage others to heal through their stories. I am also founder of R.A.C.E. (Restoration After Children's Emotions.) Our mission is to help children who have endured any sexual and emotional abuse. Our goal is to raise funds for a future non-profit organization. Together we will all heal one testimony at a time. |
