Where did you attend school I have a Bachelors of Arts in Government and International Politics with a minor in Conflict Resolution from George Mason University. I then went onto get my Masters of Science in Peace Operations from Mason. 3. Have you always desired to be a Fashion Model? Since I was a little girl I always dreamed of either being a model or a Disney princess. Magazines, commercials, spokesmodeling and walking the top runways. To have your face representing a brand or a company, it's always been so fascinating to me. 4. When and where were your first modeling assignment? I actually started modeling when I was 13 years old. I shot for a tween magazine called Girls Life and the shoot took place here in the DMV. 5. How did you feel on you first photo shoot? I'll be honest and admit I was a very nervous for the first few shoots that I was apart of. I would watch how the other models moved in front of the camera and there confidence. They looked so comfortable and not phased by the cameras, I slowly started finding my own confidence, creativity and style. Oh and I always find it appropriate to have a good laugh. 6. Would you consider yourself to be a very fashionable person. I think it depends, my current "go to" outfit is ripped jeans and a basic tee. But when I do dress up, I like to look good. My style is simple but I do have a shoe and purse obsession. 7. What is your opinion of the fashion industry in the DMV? I think that the DMV has a lot of local talent. I know that there are opportunities for work and I look forward to watching this industry continue to grow within time. 8. Who are some of your favorite models and designers? I love Alek Wek, Ubah Hassan and Milan Dixon. My favorite designers are Michael Costello, Boyet Dysangco, Walter Mendez and Vera Wang. 9. How did you feel about the “Taste of Peru” Fashion show in DC? I was really excited to be apart of the Taste of Peru Fashion show, I felt like the location, the beautiful designs and models went perfect together. It was fun being exposed to Peruvian culture through food, music and most importantly fashion. I'm now a big fan! Also, it was a pleasure being the opening and closing model for Carola Solis, her designs were incredible. 10. What does the future hold for Asia? I've been blessed to model in different countries and am looking forward to seeing where modeling will take me next. It's something I'm truly passionate about and love doing. I've just returned from a 10 month trip working with a charity called Naša Djeca and a project called the Mostar Summer Youth Project Program, the experience and connections I made with the cultural and language barriers were life changing in my opinion. I'm looking to pursue a career in peace operations and have a desire to work with children from international backgrounds and helping assist them with there development and successful integration into society.
