Frances Cuesta
With
the encouragement of a friend who owned a gym, Ms. Cuesta began coaching weight
loss clients and quickly realized a direct correlation of negative mindsets to
sabotaged weight loss goals. Seeking to help clients shift their mindsets,
achieve their weight loss goals, and transform their lives, she became a
Certified Life Coach and established Reinvent U Coaching Services. Her client
roster has included Grammy-nominated R&B recording artist, Maysa. Over the next 8 years, the life coaching
business successfully expanded to offer 12-week weight loss boot camps and
fitness classes, and her business was renamed Reinvent U Boot Camps, LLC. Reinvent U Boot Camps, LLC., is group fitness facility that provides a
supportive environment where women can enjoy a variety of fun fitness and boot
camp classes while achieving their weight loss and fitness goals. At Reinvent U
Boot Camps, the focus is on women "Losing Weight from the Inside Out"
to adopt sustainable lifestyle changes that enhance their health and vitality.
During her college career, she gained invaluable experience as a Jenny Craig weight loss counselor. Ms. Cuesta is a Desensitization Counselor who provides direct exposure for individuals experiencing workplace-related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Frances was granted the Omega Psi Phi Community Achievement Award, Black Wall Street Entrepreneur Award, and the VIP Concierge Leadership Community Award. She has been featured in several television, radio and publications, including the Dr. Oz Show, WJZ fitness program, Doni Bmore News, Grace & Glory Magazine, Heart & Soul Magazine, Baltimore Times, and Afro Newspaper. Ms. Cuesta is a certified group fitness and Zumba instructor.
While building her life coaching business, Ms. Cuesta was profoundly impacted by the untimely
death of a client's 16 year-old son from complications of obesity, diabetes, and high blood
pressure. His death served as an inspiration for Ms. Cuesta to serve as the founder and President
of Fit2Change, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization committed to preventing and reversing the epidemic
of childhood obesity by bringing fitness, nutrition, and self-empowerment programs to
Maryland's at-risk and homeless youth. In 2015, Fit2Change launched a one-year pilot
to bring the MOVE!, Home Cooking, and I.M.A.G.E (In Me A Greatness Exists) programs to
homeless youth at Loving Arms, Inc., a Baltimore City transitional housing facility for teens. Ms. Cuesta was raised in Brooklyn, NY and personally understands the disparity between low income population and eating habits.
Frances has authentic passion for helping and empowering women. She listens deeply, supports with vigor, and systematically helps her clients make that necessary shift in perspective. She stays in her clients’ corner as they take steps to change whatever is necessary in their eating habits, fitness regimen, mindset, relationships, profession, and in their heart of hearts to enable a permanent lifestyle change.
When she’s not hard at work, Frances enjoys her own personal workouts, Latin dancing, and community outreach as well as spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. In the upcoming months, Frances will be opening a new fitness facility, launching her own personal Frances Cuesta brand, she will be featured on WBAL fitness segment, and will receive the Health and Wellness Entrepreneur Award of the Year from VIP Concierge.
