Josie Valdez

~ "Josie's Faces" ~

Copa: Where are you from?
Josie: I'm from the beautiful country of Bolivia, South America. Copa: What inspired you to embark on your journey into makeup artistry, fashion, and style?
Josie: As a child, I always was intrigued by fashion, beauty and hair. I owe all to my mom Which school did you attend?
Josie: Richard Montomery High School in Rockville, Maryland. Copa: What was your first memorable experience in a fashion industry related situation?
Josie: It started with a photo-shoot that I was asked to attend by Maria Esquivel owner of Foto Espana. Where she invites up and coming local artists. Shortly after that I was able to connect with different people in the industry and I started booking for different events. I brought along my two biggest helpers whom are my daughters Rachel and Jecennia. For those who know me know that I started with them and the glam squad grew from there. Copa: What is your professional opinion on make-up and beauty as it applies to the individual?
Josie: I don’t feel that you need makeup to be beautiful, beauty comes from within. However, makeup enhances natural beauty. |

I will also be travelling to Ghana to participate as a Judge in a fabulous Pageant in 2022. I look forward 2022, without a doubt it will be another wonderful year of new friends and experiences! It's all about working with every great opportunity that comes my way. Life should be a wonderful adventure in some form for everyone |
