Copa: What makes Baltimore so magical?
Marsha: The water and Baltimore is a big/country town... not so big that it isn't manageable and not so small that it is claustrophobic. The people are interesting and always doing neat stuff. It is also kinda nice not being born here so its interesting as a welcomed outsider to have the 30,000 ft view of the flow of the City and the players.

Copa: How do you stay so busy and maintain your fabulous look and style?
Marsha: Thank you! First, I am an easy breezy kinda girl, and have my hands in a couple of pots... so, I believe style should be a natural extension of who I am. How comfortable are you in your own skin with what feels comfortable for you. My style isn't trendy. I like classic comfort that flows elegantly with my movements and on occasion adding a few signature pieces to lightly accent.

Copa: Who is your favorite designer and where do you like to shop?
Marsha: I have never had a favorite "designer" I don't follow the typical trends or labels, and I am not a big clothing chain shopper. I don't like to wear what other people are wearing. I like odd pieces that can be found in little out of the way boutiques in cities that I happen to be in or cute little places I discover in the greater DMV. I am also the Queen of the Sales Racks-Years ago I worked for Saks 5th Avenue & Neiman Marcus and there I learned about needless mark-up... and haven't paid full price since.

Copa: What’s the Museum been up to lately?
Marsha: We recently mounted a new Art exhibition by Sculpture Patrick McGuire's Exhibition Water. Wind. Sky. Rain an amazing show that is open until October 31. The pieces are extraordinary. And, of course during the summer we received a ton of group tours of families and groups visiting Baltimore and pariticipated in the Legends & Legacies program which includes the Reginald Lewis Museum, Great Blacks in Wax Museum and of course, the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park Museum.

Copa: What does the future hold for the City of Baltimore and Marsha Reeves Jews?
Marsha: The City of Baltimore is growing and there is an awful lot of development and gentrification happening. Many communities that had been lying dormant are being revitalized and you can feel the energy. As in most Cities, Baltimore is feeling its growing pains - how to balance the distribution of wealth, contracts and education. How are the citizens best served during this transition... its one that most urban centers are experiencing. For me personally, we are building our own community; expanding our reach and looking forward to being part of this growth and excitement. Thank you Rodney for your tenacity and I truly appreciate all that you do and wish you and Copa Style Magazine continued success!
