Fashion/Beauty Trends Straight Off The Runway From New York Fashion Week!

Beauty and fashion have always been passions of mine! Trends come and go so quickly, if you blink your eyes you could miss them! So how does someone in the beauty industry keep up with the latest trends? By paying attention to what is coming right off the runways of the trendiest cities in the world

Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week just concluded itʼs Spring/Summer 2015 collections from some of the most popular designers! YES, to stay on trend you must look ahead, sooo with that said we are looking at what will be hot for next Spring and Summer 2015!

Some of the Spring/Summer fashion trends will be floral prints, pastels, and gingham, classic crisp white shirts, tailored jackets. Vivid yellow seems to be THE color of the season, as well as sheer fabrics for tops, skirts, and dresses. Skirts are lengthening to mid calf, lots of high slits, and shorts and culottes will be really popular!

Now, letʼs talk beauty! We will still be seeing a strong brow and playing up eyes with lots of liner! Liner shades can vary from blue to white to black! Another popular trend will be a fresh faced “no makeup look”. Does this mean no makeup? NO, absolutely not! It just means looking like you have flawless skin, so donʼt forgo your concealers and foundation to even out your skin tone! We will see subtle blush shades and natural lip tones. Soft pastel eye shadows will be a popular trend, as well. It looks like braids, layered cuts, and much less structured hairstyles for a relaxed, feminine look will be back in style

Of course I will revisit this next year, as the season is upon us! Next stop DC Fashion week!
