Sharrarne: I was born in Washington, DC, but have lived most of my life in Maryland. |

Copa: Which schools have you attended?
Sharrarne: I attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where I received my Bachelor's degree in journalism. I received my Master's of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Copa: Have you always desired a sense of travel and adventure abroad?
Sharrarne: I've always wanted to travel. I've been blessed to travel to some of the places that I have wanted to see. However, I have a lot more places on my "must see" list. |

Copa: What is the name of your travel club and when was it established ?
Sharrarne: I began inviting people to travel with me in 2012, so we're new at this. It's been a blast!! Hence, we're called "Blast Off" travel. My travel group is open to anyone that I know and they can invite friends and family as well.

Copa: How does the group choose their destinations and plan itinerary?
Sharrarne: . I choose the destination and the itinerary is planned by the travel company that handles the planning of the trip.

Copa: Would you please share some of your experiences in the first two trips?
Sharrarne: My experiences have been spectacular!! We visited Rome, Florence, Milan and Paris. Visually, those cities had some of the most fabulous architecture I've ever seen. And the food...can I say that I had foodgasms everyday!! I've never tasted such delectable pleasures in all of my life. Italy had THE best food and Paris had THE best chocolate and perfume!!

Copa: How was your shopping experiences and was Paris, Milan and Rome all you thought it to be with all of the beautiful stores?
Sharrarne: Paris and Milan had the most beautiful clothes I've ever seen. All of the top designers had the most luxurious stores on the Champs Elysees in Paris. This year, we also went to London and I have to say that the clothes at Harrods were absolutely exquisite and one of a kind. However, Italy had the softest, most beautiful leather materials, some of which were crafted right in front of our eyes. And the men dressed impeccably well, even when they were dressed casually. Simply the best!!

One of my most memorable experiences had to be standing under the Eiffel Tower with my friends and family, eating the best crepes in the world, and then taking the elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower and experiencing the breathtaking view of the city of Paris!! Visiting Vatican City and seeing the Pope in person while in Rome was also very memorable.
Sharrarne: I had so many memorable experiences. Copa:What great travel advice would you give to prospective travelers preparing for their adventures?
Sharrarne: I would tell travelers to have an open mind because every culture is different. Additionally, I would tell them to go with great friends and family who like to laugh and have fun. And, lastly, drink in every moment of your dream destination as if it were your last!! ~Copa |
