Ron West
Copa Style Magazine 2023 "Man of The Year"

Copa: Where are you from?
Ron: I was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio. Copa: Which schools have you attended and degrees you've obtained?
Ron: I attended Saint Joseph’s elementary school as a kid going up in the projects. I was a lead altar boy. When in the 9th grade I started attending Elder High School. Because it was a private school, my Mom had to work 3 jobs to pay for my education. Time got tough in the late ’60s & early ’70s so I transferred to a public school. So, I graduated. I have a degree in Engineering. Which was received from Ohio State. Copa: At What time did you become interested in nutrition and physical training?
Ron: I stopped working in the corporate world in April of 03. That's when I turned the page and started a new chapter in my life, Which was RUSHFITNESSLLC a Personal Training/Nutritional company. Copa: We also see that you have an incredible flair for fashion and men's style. How would you describe your 'personal style?
Ron: I owe my style to my Mom & my Aunt Pearl. What you see before you is a creation of what they wanted for me. As a young kid growing up in the ghetto I was lucky to have my Aunt who was a seamstress, she made my clothes. However, what I didn't know then was the effect it was going to have as an adult. |
Copa: Many of our readers have noticed that you have supported many fashion and pageantry events in the last several years in many ways. Please share a few of those events with our readers.

Richard, Ph.D., Yasmin Paraskevas, Patricia Watts, Cintia Hullen, Gayela Bynum etc. Also, I must mention a great fundraiser, the Gatsby Showcase which will be coming soon to the Kennedy Center for this year.
