Copa: At what time in your life did you discover you had an interest in fashion?
Jana: I started to actually make clothes on my own for myself and friends at age 12. I figure out how to make dresses, pants, coats, jackets and that time it was my passion. My father actually wanted me to be fashion designer but I choose to pursue preschool teaching degree. I also started to model at age 13, so fashion has always been part of my professional and personal life.

Copa: What are your favorite designers, colors and patterns?
Jana: My favorite designer is definitely Valentino. I modeled for him at my young age and his pieces are incredible. I love white, gold, beige colors and if combined all these three colors together it is perfection to me. Of course I also like pink and red. Black is very classy and will never be out of style.

Copa: What is your personal philosophy on fashion?
Jana: I don't get influenced what is in each year, I have my own classy style and I stick to it. I believe classy dressed woman will always be IN! Sometimes too much is too much. I believe less and simplicity is more.

Copa: Do you believe that Washington has a unique approach when it comes to it's fashion industry?
Jana: Washington DC is a very unique city in many aspects and one of them is definitely fashion. Sometimes I feel there should be class in schools - how to dress. Many people have no clue how to dress. But I do not judge them - I respect that fact that they put their brain into something different.
