On Saturday, June 17th 2017 Dr. Renee Starlynn Allen and Dr. Nakia Wright hosted the "Unleashing The Star Power Within" event at the Morrison-Clark Historical Inn located in downtown Washington, DC.  It was a spectacular event attended by some of the most prestigious of ladies of the DMV area.

There were several performances by a number of vocalists including popular international singer Sylver Logan Sharp (formally of "CHIC.") The keynote speaker for this spectacular event was Karen Huger, fabulous cast member of the highly rated Bravo Network television series "The Real Housewives of Potomac." Dr. Allen also announced her upcoming book, "Starpower, Let It Shine" which will be available in the near future.
