Copa: Where are you and Donnell from?
Leisel: I'm from Port of Spain, Trinidad. Donnell is from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Copa: What schools have you attended?
Leisel: My high school was Holy Name Convent in Port of Spain, Trinidad. I then received my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Howard University in Washington, DC. Donnell graduated from Forestville High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. |
Copa: When did you both become interested in the world of Real Estate and why?
Leisel: Donnell and I were tired of living paycheck to paycheck and we knew that there was a better way. We became interested in the world of Real Estate. We saw it as an opportunity to provide a better life for our family and leave a legacy for our children.

Copa: What did you both do before embarking on your Real Estate experience?
Leisel: I was a Senior Accountant at a large non-profit organization. Donnell was the Mailroom Supervisor at the same company. Copa: Please share with me the catalyst which made the business blossom to what it is now.
Leisel: The biggest catalyst was when we made the decision to invest in our business and hire a coach. Our first coach shared with us the tools, systems and people that are necessary to have and build a successful and profitable organization. |
Copa: How would you both describe good service to your client to make them comfortable in what may be the largest decision of their lives?
Leisel: We focus on the client's needs and wants when searching for their home. Our clients are comfortable because we ensure that they know that the home buying process is all about them and finding out what works for their family.

Copa: What's are the 4 most important things home buyers must consider before embarking on their journey to buying a new home?

Leisel: Depending on the type of financing that a buyer has been qualified for, the closing process can take anywhere from 30 to 45 days. Copa: What are the 3 most important things sellers need to do before placing their home on the market?
