Back To School Beauty Tips For Teens!
With school right around the corner it’s time to think about getting back to the busy routine that teens face today!
I can’t stress enough to my teenage clients how important it is to get a good night’s sleep each night. With the daily demands of school, sports, an active social life, and the stresses that come with being a teenager, it is important to start developing healthy habits. Getting enough sleep will keep the immune system strong and reduce those hormonal breakouts that occur at this age.
Teens should also get into the habit of developing good skin care routines, that will hopefully continue throughout their lives. I tell my teen clients that taking care of their skin from an early age is a good investment and will keep them looking youthful for many years to come! Be sure to keep your skin properly cleansed and never go to bed without removing your makeup. This will clog the pores and cause more blemishes, especially if you are active in sports. An oil fee lightweight moisturizer with an added sunscreen will keep the skin hydrated and protected from the sun’s harmful rays. Spot treatments for the common breakouts that teens face are also good to have in their medicine chest

There is nothing more radiant than a youthful glow, so there is no need for heavy makeup. A tinted moisturizer to even out the skin tone, a concealer for under the eyes and for blemish coverage keeps the skin looking even. Mascara, a touch of eyeliner, a soft colored blush, and a dab of lipgloss will give you a polished, but natural look. For a little extra color and a nice glow a little shimmery bronzer will do the trick! It’s important to keep the beauty routine to a minimum, as teens are usually pressed for time in the morning. Makeup application shouldn’t take more than five to seven minutes per day!
