NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
  1. I decided to cover New York Fashion Week back in July of this year.
  2. Day 1, when I arrived to New York for NYFW, my experience was pleasant and exciting.  I had a little help from friends from NY with Navigating and getting to my first destination.  I am pretty self-sufficient so once I got to my hotel, I navigated on my own.
  3. The location of the Friday Night Fashion show was the National Geographic Encounter in Times Square, this show had several designers:

  1. Day 2, I attended the ASCFW Indonesia Modest Mid Day fashion show at 1:00pm
The location was The Metropolitan Pavilion in downtown Manhattan, NY
  1. I had some friends that live in NY come and  meet me downtown in Timesquare.  We had dinner at VERSA, NYC and checked out a few stores. I had an enjoyable time taking in some fashion shows, sites and food while in New York for New York Fashion Show.
THE POWER OF FASHION SHOW
  1. My Publicist worked on the PR for The Power of Fashion Show and I saw her post about the event on social media and that is how I found out about the show.
  2. The Power of Fashion Show took place at The Perry Belmont House in Washington, DC
  3. The designers from The Power Of Fashion show were all GREAT and their designs ranged from “A Night out on the Town” to a Gown you can wear in a pageant.  Very classy, chic and tasteful!
  4.  I would describe the fashion theme for this event as one that was very glamorous, romantic, alluring and elegant.
  5. Special guest for this show, Mr. John Blassingame, Ms. Sofia Davis and Mr Derrick Ruthledge,
  6. Hmmmmm in my personal opinion I think that the future and the development of Fashion in DMV will change and development more over time into a more grander type of platform, maybe even similar to Fashion Shows in New York and Paris.  I do think WAhsiongotn DC is on their way to this kind of platform.
