Copa: Where are you from?
Pamela: I'm from the beautiful city of Annapolis, Maryland. Copa: Which schools have you attended and degrees you've earned?
Pamela: I Earned a Master's of Human services Degree from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. I'm currently working on my Doctorate of Education, emphasis on Higher Education, at Morgan State University. Copa: At what time did you realize you were good with people?
Pamela: Early on, I knew I had a love for talking based upon my 3rd grade teacher's comments on my report card, "she's a great student and a bit talkative." Copa: In your personal and professional opinion, why is great communication so important in all of our lives?
Pamela: Effective and reflective communication is very important. I love the theory of Emotional Intelligence based upon 4 constructs: (1) self- awareness, (2) self -management, (3) social awareness, and (4) relationship management. Copa: Please tell us about your latest book.
Pamela: "You Got This" is a journal book designed for intentional living . It was released last July and has been doing pretty good. Journaling is an awesome form of communication and serves many purposes. It is a healthy outlet to map out goals, plans, and expressions. Additionally, writing in a journal helps us to retain information that our memory might forget. |

Copa: Do you find podcasts a more effective way of conveying your specific message?
Pamela: Michelle and I have deemed ourselves as "Podcaster Broadcasters" on a mission to educate, elevate and empower. Podcasting offers another means to reach people in another venue of choice.

Copa: How has COVID-19 affected your activities?
Pamela: Like everyone, COVID-19 has forced us to adapt and pivot. Navigating life through a global pandemic has certainly caused us to embrace another outlook on life and what;s really important. Assuredly, there has been a lot of changes and shifting. Our health is truly our wealth--physical and mental health.

Copa: What advice would you give to individuals who are losing focus on important activities or projects during this interim if viruses?
Pamela: Anxiety, depression and isolation continue to threaten our being. My biggest piece of advice is to "take one day at a time" and not get overwhelmed with life. Keep things in the proper perspective. Don't be so hard on yourself and remember to reward yourself. Accept challenges and problems as growth opportunities and keep it moving.

Copa: What does the future hold for Pamela R. Browne and her activities?
Pamela: I am open minded and determined to maintain a positive outlook on life. Undoubtedly, I am determined to life intentionally. Time waits for no one. In the scheme of things big or small, in my heart, I matter. And, that means I have a purpose to fulfill while I am on this earthly mission to do my very best.
