Copa: Where are you from?
Judith: I was born in Kingston, Jamaica WI. I left at a very young age to South Florida. Copa: Which schools have you attended?
Judith: I attended Acola Lake Elementary School and went to Detroit, Michigan to a Peterson Academy, a private Christian School. Later, I returned to Jamaica for high school at W.I College SDA High school. Afterwards I came back to Florida to college where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Marketing and Design from the American Intercontinental University. |
Copa: When did it become more serious?
Judith: I was always into fashion and modeling when I was younger, after I enrolled into college I became more involved in it. After I graduated in 2007 I created my designs on and off but I became more serious in my business in 2016. Copa: Would you say that your creations have a signature look? If so, in what way?
Judith: Yes, I would say my brand has a special look.describe. The most identifiable feature are my detachable gowns that have long trains or mermaid detachable skirts that the same gown can become a cocktail dress or a party dress. Many people know me for the long trains or mermaid gowns. And the big ballgowns with beautiful colors. |
Copa: When was your first fashion show?
Judith: It was in the early 90's, I used to do shows for a company that had their own TV channel on B.E.T. Also for an entertainer that would have Football players, many actors, and famous singers such as Bob Martley's sons and mother, all was in the 90's. It was received very well because it was also aired on broadcast T.V.

Copa: What is the inspiration to your fashionable creations?
Judith: I love to work with beautiful materials. That's what gives me inspiration to make my designs. I inspire to create unusual designs that will keep audiences asking for more or looking forward for the next style that comes out next on the runway with the right models who can also work the styles. |
Copa: How do you find your models?
Judith: I choose my models myself, if I see someone in the store, on my job when I used to work as a Banker. Usually I hold auditions. if they should be reasonably tall and be able fit my designs and of course, be attractive.

Copa: What's the average time that it takes to produce some of your pieces?
Judith: I can design and produce in a day if I only have that to do, it doesn't take me too long to sew a gown or anything. The longest it might takes depends on what I am making could be a week.
