"An Evening with Bob Paff"
By Rodney Wayne Branche
Copa: Welcome to Washington, DC Bob! Let's get started by talking about your book "Communicating to Win in Life, Love & Business."
Bob: The book is really a transparent look at my life. It was initially written as a healing process for me talking about communication in my personal life when a breakdown in communication happened and problems arose. The publication is written like a handbook in a conversational tone, this helped me with my own grieving process for lack of a better term and it just caught on. The genesis is that nobody ever really teaches us how to communicate. We're lucky if people teach us proper social skills but nobody teaches us how to communicate so we become very programmed. We get into problems that we don't have any idea on how to navigate ourselves out of. So this is what the book is all about how do deal with this situation and how to communicate effectively.

Copa: Many people are familiar with you around the country, especially in Baltimore and DC, not to mention the readers of your column in Copa Style Magazine with your candid views on the art of effective communication with others in our lives. We are happy to see that you will be in Washington, DC at the "W" Hotel in the POV Lounge Rooftop. So share with our readers why you will be here and what they will expect at this interesting and informative event.
Bob: Well, this won't be just a traditional book signing, we've done those. This book began on January 2015. Last year we held an event entitled as "An evening with Bob Paff" at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion in Baltimore. We made it a great evening with me not just sitting behind a desk signing books. The overriding thing here is that we are putting people together, this is a great opportunity for people to connect and that's what my message is really all about. You may find the love of your life, your best friend or you best business deal at this event. People should go into these type of events with their minds, and with their hearts wide open. If someone just walks out of there with just and autographed copy of my book I will just have to say "Shame on you!" And that deck of the roof of the "W" Hotel is absolutely marvelous, you can see the Jefferson Memorial, the White House, and Lincoln Memorial. You can not find a better place in Washington, DC to have this event. I'm from Baltimore and DC is about 45 minutes drive south. We're doing this all over the country, I just came back from Miami and will be headed to San Antonio. If you are in DC on Thursday and not at the POV Lounge on the Rooftop of the "W" Hotel you are in the wrong place.
