Copa: Where are you from?
Heaven: Atlanta, Georgia. Copa: At what time did you wish to become a model?
Heaven: I began at age 6. |
Copa: When was your first fashion show and how was your experience?
Heaven: Being on the runway comes with a ton of strict rules that can be both exciting and stressful. From casting calls to skin care, wardrobe fittings, makeup appointments, training, and rehearsals, models have a lot of preparation before reaching the catwalk. I was later crowned "Junior Teen Miss Georgia" for my work on the runway. Copa: Tell us about your first photo-shoot?
Heaven: My very first photo-shoot was at John Casablancas Modeling and Acting school at 7 years old it was wonderful experience. |
Copa: Please tell us about your acting experiences?
Heaven: I made my first appearance on the big screen by playing Natasha in the film "The Hate U Give." I followed my debut by playing the role of Young Ruby - 'Double' in the film "The Darkest Minds." Aside from my work in front of the camera, My newest film, 'Black Girl Magic' has become the recent talk of most conversations involving the young star. Copa: What does fashion mean to you?
Heaven: Fashion means to me being beautiful in my own unique style. |

Heaven: My coloring, and motivational book titled "Heaven's Life On The Runway" is a feature that should not be ignored. My book creatively engages aspiring models to read Heaven's incredible story while having fun with coloring and activities. Heaven’s book was written to encourage, motivate, and direct individuals toward their passions. Through reading Heaven’s book, reader’s will not only learn about Heaven’s experiences in the modeling industry, but they will also gain understanding of the amount of hard work it takes to develop and sustain success in the industry.

Copa: What other activities are you evolved with?
Heaven: I'm a community leader, I have my own nonprofit named "Heaven Help One Help All Foundation Inc." organization is where I help families in need. I just joined leaders of tomorrow at my school. I founded the foundation in 2014 because I felt a need to get involved by helping the less fortunate. Since it's inception the organization has supported the 'Nicholas House' by providing lunches to families, hosted a holiday toy drive, we also traveled to Haiti to help children in need, held five back to school events, and this year the organization has been involved with feeding the homeless.
In 2019, I was nominated for the RICE (Rising In Community Excellence) Awards in Atlanta for Youth Achiever Of The Year on behalf of "The Heaven Help One Help All Foundation." RICE Award nominations are earned through dedication, sacrifices, and contributions. The nominees are held to a high standard for being outstanding citizens who work tirelessly to serve their communities in Atlanta and beyond.
