1. Diamond, where are you from? Diamond was born and raise in NW, Washington, DC.
2. What schools did you attend? Calvin Coolidge Sr. High School
3. Where you always interested in business? Growing up with both of my parents being entrepreneurs in the beauty world...it was my destiny to do the same. Having immersed herself in fashion and advocate for health and wellness for nearly two decades, Diamond has been herald as an influential forces working in fashion today.
4. What example did you follow? Diamond was exposed at a very young age to the worlds of fashion, entrepreneurship and community advocates by her parents, grandmother and Aunt Doris Clark (fashion pioneer). With her family influence, plus access to countless fashion experts, she developed a very strong passion for all things glamorous and assisting in the community.
5. Do you have a philosophy to business? My philosophy is to inspire and empower clients to look and feel their best. Focusing on providing high quality services to professionals and corporations that want to define or refine their brand identity. I aim to ensure my clients’ image reflect who they are or who they aspire to be while discovering their own personal niche
6. How many businesses do you have now? 3 business - Key2impressions Image and Styling Boutique (2 locations), Fashion Meets Health Inc (non-pofit) and Stylist Chics (internet Talk Show).
7.Diamond created a one-stop shop where clients could come and get all services rendered. After the release of Key2impressions Image & Brand Styling location in DC, she has proved her success as an Image and Brand Stylist. Diamond’s range of style offers modern and polished women who is trend-conscious, loves fashion and values the collection’s functional wearability.
8. Please tell us about your radio show. I'm on 3 shows providing the Fashion, Health and Community Report.
9. Copa Style Magazine is happy to partner with you on the big Prom Dress Drive, how do you feel about the upcoming event? My next event is Fashion Meets Health Winter Edition. We host the Fashion Meets Health Editions 3 times a year in Washington, DC. in which she brings consciousness to a healthier and fashionable America. Noticing her own weight issues, that she wanted to bring awareness to the obese issues plaguing our country and show how easy it can be to become healthier and fashionable at any age or size. Diamond’s, events which are free to the public, offers a unique mix of experts and businesses to incorporate a sense of style, rejuvenation of the mind and body, help discover health and wellness products, see live performances, spa treatments, fashion show and retail therapy.
10. What does the future hold for Diamond? In her Image Workshop, Diamond provides access to Complete Style Makeovers, Dress-Code Guideline Development, Closet Organization, Beauty Tricks and Tips, Accessorizing and self-esteem. Diamond will continue to inspire Women, our youth and the community by paving the way for success while making a change in the fashion and health industries.
