Copa: Where are you from?
Walter: I grew up in the beautiful little town of Mt. Vernon, New York. Copa: At what time did you establish the 100 Black Men of Prince George's County, and what was the best thing you liked and continue to like about it?
Walter: It was founded in 1997. I was the founder of the mentoring organization. It continues to grow in size and gives away $20,000 in scholarships annually. Copa: How did you become so interested in sporting activities such as Football and golfing activities?
Walter: I have always been pretty athletic in high school in Track and Football. And a business client introduced me to the game of golf. And now I am doing Celebrity Golf Tournaments for major causes. Copa: How did you become so great at mentoring young kids?
Walter: I have always enjoyed coaching young people on many different levels. |
Copa: We also see that you're dedicated to supporting the Washington Commanders Team and activities.
Walter: I had the honor of playing with Hall of Fame player Art Monk in high school. And I work directly with Super Bowl Champion Doug Williams on Charity events across the country.

Copa: Where did you attend school, and what was your favorite subject?
Walter: I attended Mt. Vernon High School. My favorite class was social studies. Later, I enrolled in Rugers University.

Copa: How did it feel when you announced your candidacy to run for Congress on the Democratic ballot?
Walter: I was excited and eager to begin my run for this historic position in Congress!
