1. Where are you from?
Washington DC
2. What influenced you to write your book: "Black Leaf, a story of a Hustler's Daughter?"
In 2011 while my father laid on his Deathbed he asked me to Promise him that one day I’ll write a book about his life
But it Wasn’t until 2013, when I was going to Montgomerycollege to get my GED my Professor Read a article That I had wrote, He was intrigued with what he was Reading. So that’s when I know I had the skills to become a Great storyteller.
3. How long did it take for you to finish it? It took me 2 years to get everything done
4. Was it easy to extract memories of the past and transform your story into a book?
Not as hard as I thought it would be I mean, Certain Memories I have far as the Hurt and pain I endured
that I had buried Long time ago deep down in my thoughts that I haven’t thought twice about in a long time
to have to bring Everything back up to the surface
that was Hard it became very emotional Reviewing my feelings that I try so hard to hide from the world
But it wasn’t Hard transforming everything into a story
5. Did you find the experience of working with your father fascinating at the time?
When I was younger “No” Because I only knew what I was taught so things that I did and seen It was normal, but as I got older and More wiser
Yes”
6. What are your views of that experience now and what was is the greatest thing you've learned while working on your book?
My views now Is Happiness because I believe the Experience back then mood me into the woman I am today, The Greatest thing I’ve learnt is that my Ability to survive the unknown
It’s truly a blessing with God work
7. Do you feel your book would be the basis of a good movie in the near future? If so, what actor should portray your father?
it would be better then good,It would be a
Great movie / TV series”
I believe a lot of people
Would be able to Relate Because it is real life and it’s Based on Different life Experience

9. In your mind, what do you think motivated your father to live in a complex world of drugs, sex, and sometimes violence?
He was Born into a complex world so the drugs, sex and violence was there, I believe as he got old he found a way too embrace the Only thing he knew. I Truly think when Button , Realize he could turn everything he was Subjected to- into a business and make more money he ever Dreamt of, I believe that Was his motivation
10. Did you feel as if you were in a movie yourself at times when you think back?
Yes, it’s like a
Outer-body experience when thinking about my Journey it really Felt like I was in a movie looking back on The crazy unpredictable things I did

The future holds nothing but Greatness and Peace for me
