Copa: At what time did you develop your special sense of community?
Bella: At a very early age. I love giving back, it resonates to my "Paycheck of the Heart" as well as kindness and compassion. Helping others is the largest and biggest reward that anyone can ever experience. Helping others is paramount to humanity.

Copa: How would you describe your work ethic and values?
Bella: My work ethic has been instilled to me from my parents. My work ethic is consistent with my drive and ambition to a better life with an increased sense of purpose.. Working the front line, especially now during the pandemic, I'm often referred to as a "Super SHEro in Scrubs", and I proudly wear that title and share it with the entire medical community. Copa: We see that you have quite a flair for fashion and style that works well with your great personality how do balance it so well?
Bella: Fashion & Style are forms of expression, just like music and dance. Its international and understood in the heart, received in the soul, and celebrated by the spirit. We as human beings are able to communicate with each other through these forms of art and expression. Fashion is an art form and serves as a vessel to express ourselves so that the world can see it. Life is a continuous balancing act. I see beauty in everything, I love a basic black dress, and I can make it pop with a killer pair of CLB heels, and other accessories. I see myself as a blank canvas and on days when I'm not reporting for duty and wearing scrubs, I start the painting on my emotions. How I feel that day, the weather, and how I want to be received by the outside world. I can go from a sporty look in a ponytail, to a super full look on GLAM with lashes and extensions to match. (with the help of my glam dream team) It all depends where I'm going. The most important thing to wear is confidence, that completes any look, and of course, a smile. |
Copa: Last year we see that you’ve participated in a pageant competition, how did you like that experience?
Bella: That was my first pageant EVER, it was an incredible experience, I was able to formulate relationships with my fellow "sister queens". It was to have been held at the Kennedy Center, but COVID-19 had other plans. I was very grateful to our director, she did everything in her power to make sure that we had a pageant despite the pandemic. She organized her 1st ever virtual pageant. That one night served as a springboard for my other projects that I will later discuss.

Copa: Also, we see that you’ve done a bit of modeling, have those experiences further solidified your confidence as you've been moving forward in your activities?
Bella: As a child, I was overweight and painfully shy. Unfortunately I was also bullied in school. As I matured; I learned to use the things that made me "different" as a form of empowerment, not just for myself, but I want to serve as a role model for my daughter and other young ladies that don't have the traditional runway look. I feel comfortable in my skin and that's so important to convey to everyone. It's these differences that gives a person character, it's those quirks that make you unique, and its those wounds and battle scars that make you beautiful. |
Copa: We see that your main platform has been an advocate to inform others about Human trafficking, would you please elaborate that for our readers.
Bella: Human Trafficking is modern day slavery. Its a huge plague that effects the entire world. I have partnered up with Shared Hope International as an "Ambassador of Hope" in our region.

Copa: What does the future hold for Bella Levy and her world of competition and helping others.
Bella: I hope continue fighting on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic and take that courage to fight the evil of Human Trafficking.
